About Me

About Me

I live North of Seattle in the Puget Sound area, arguably one of the most beautiful places in the world.

Writing is how I share what I have learned over the past 40+ years and what is important to me as I live and thrive through health issues and the balance of personal life and a career.

My favorite things besides writing are coffee, yoga, mountain hikes, laughing, red wine, scenic views, taking pictures and the scent of lavender.

I am twice divorced with joint custody and secondary care of my biological daughters and also have two step children from my second marriage.

I have health issues. In 2012 I survived two strokes. I have inflammatory arthritis in my sacroiliac joints (sacroiliitis), cervical spinal stenosis, scoliosis, fibromyalgia, and IBS. Also, I am short – four feet eleven inches tall. You will learn about how I thrive despite all this here on my site.

I want what Ernest Hemingway describes in his, “A Very Short Story” – to write about life to
make it so I can not lose it.

There are over 7 billion people on Earth having unique experiences, gaining knowledge and adjusting their perspective daily.
I love learning and reading a variety of other people’s work. The passion, humor, and excitement of others who share fuel my desire and motivation to share back.
