My Bio

I am a 20 year veteran of the corporate world who finally discovered what I want to be when I grow up. I meditate and practice yoga every day and it helps reduce my chronic pain from arthritis and fibromyalgia, but it also speaks to my soul. Because of these benefits, I want to help others find peace and healing through the practice of yoga. I began my 200-hour yoga teacher certification in March 2018 with YogaSpirit®.

My previous training background includes group and one-on-one corporate classroom training where I logged more teaching hours than I can calculate. Also, I taught two years of youth swim lessons at the YMCA.

In addition to teaching, writing is one of my passions. Besides my blog, I am published in eHow, Chron, and The Nest. I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

This strong training background and my written communication skills provide a solid foundation for my yoga teaching so I can then help others on their yoga journey.

Until I graduate with my yoga certification in October 2018, I am offering FREE individual yoga sessions. Schedule your session on my Appointments and Events page!
