Let the Holidays Begin!

The Seattle Times has reported sun Wednesday, November 25th through the holiday weekend. Our family is packing up the Caravan and heading across the Sound for Thanksgiving in Port Orchard. If you will be around Seattle this weekend there is a cornucopia of activities to get you in the holiday spirit. So grab an eggnog latte and head out to enjoy some of these:

Beginning Friday:

 

The ACT Theater is all decorated for Christmas and begins their annual performances of “A Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickens.

The Woodland Park Zoo Wildlights begin to twinkle.

The Pacific Northwest Ballet opens George Balanchine’s “The Nutcracker” for its first performance.

Argosy Cruises “Christmas Ship Festival” sets sail.

Snow begins to fall every night at 7 pm on “Snowflake Lane” in Bellevue.

Beginning Saturday:

 

See Diving Santa weekends from Noon to 3 pm at the Seattle Aquarium.

Free Event!

Visit “Magic in the Market Holiday Celebration” from 1 pm to 5 pm at Pike Place Market. Free pictures with Santa, gingerbread cookie decorating, carolers, apple cider, hot chocolate and spiced tea. At 5 pm Santa will count down the lighting of the holiday tree and Market lights.
